I celebrated my return to society by meeting friends at Alembic in SF. Their seasonal cocktail menu includes chai hot toddys, mulled wine, and boozey hot chocolate. They also have a very cute parklet and very good french fries, located beside the bookshop they also run. 20/10 recommend to any readers based in SF!
Huge thank you to Rosie who proof-read this edition; she is a master editor for my entire friend group and I’m grateful she lent her eyes and attention here.
That’s all from me. Have a beautiful weekend friends.
Sarah
The following blurb asking you to “pledge your support” is a hoax! I am super happy with your support, and do not need you to pledge, but alas, Substack tacks this onto the end of the newsletter! Boo! Instead of pledging your support here, please consider buying yourself a treat from your local bakery. Thank you!
