Heya friends, happy Friday!
It was a busy-ish week, but the good news is I got to meet/speak with a handful of you (shout-outs to Matt, Garrett, Richard, and Mitch!). Always fun (and genuinely sweet) to meet readers and hear about the amazing work you’re doing. If anybody ever wants to chat over in-real-life virtual coffee hot chocolate, ya know where to find me.
As you’re reading this, there is a good chance I’ll be on a train meandering my way from Emeryville to Truckee for a week up in snowy Tahoe. I’ve stolen Coco (the toy poodle I often dog sit for) and we’re spending the week making snow angels. Next week’s edition may just be a series of cute photos with no further comments. Tune in!
For now, I have a short n sweet newsletter of links. Sadly not much commentary coming your way this week, but alas, sometimes that is how the time-crunch cookie crumbles. On y va!

I re-read Monday’s newsletter after it was sent, and I have to say, that was a lot of typos even for me 😂 I appreciate every reader for just rolling with ‘em. I promise I am a professional who does sometimes spellcheck.
P.S. We all love Nick Cave 🖤
A judge in Beverly Hills is blocking luxury home renovations until affordable housing is built, which honestly we love. I am curious how the judge defines both “luxury” and “affordable” especially in the context of Beverly Hills. [The Guardian, and a link to the weezer song because we were all singing it in our heads anyways]
Finally, a friend and I have been binge-watching Love is Blind Sweden. If you too have concerns about Sergio, please reach out.
That’s all from me. Have a beautiful weekend friends.
